Vantrition, LLC’s mission is to assist serious athletes in reaching their fullest potential by providing safe and effective, evidenced-based, protein and amino acid supplements targeting their specific athletic needs, with the belief that with proper nutrition and training, individuals can achieve their maximum athletic ability.
Vantrition, LLC was formed on January 24, 2012 to formulate and manufacture dietary supplements for elite and serious athletes. Vantrition, LLC’s line of sports nutrition supplements consists of protein and amino acid blends that are sport specific, for athletes in baseball, football, triathlons, cross-fit, basketball, golf, running, soccer, and paintball. Products are targeted for a higher end audience and those athletes having goals and aspirations of playing at the “next level.” Product development, testing, and formulation have been conducted during the last four years, with the official launching of the Vantrition, LLC website (http://www.vantrition.com/) taking place on March 1, 2016. Presently, Vantrition, LLC offers more than 23 different protein and amino acid blend products, with operations for Vantrition, LLC located in Wooster and Ashland, Ohio. Vantrition, LLC’s production facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Additionally, Vantrition, LLC offers custom product blends formulated and manufactured for an athlete interested in a specific product designed for their individual needs or preferences.
The company’s founder and President, Dr. David F. Vanata, RD, CSSD, LD, has advanced degrees (Ph.D., MS) in Human Nutrition from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and the Florida State University, respectively, is Board Certified in Sports Nutrition/Dietetics, and a registered and licensed dietitian (RDN). He has manufacturing, quality control/assurance experience in the food industry and has been counseling athletes for decades. His expertise in the formulation and manufacture of food related products, as well as understanding the specific needs of athletes, combined with the scientific knowledge of the metabolic pathways associated with athletic performance and nutrition, enables him to lead this company forward with the development and manufacture of protein and amino acid supplements for athletes.
Additional Vantrition, LLC staff include individuals with expertise in exercise physiology, nutritional product development, sport specific athletic consultants for product testing, development and evaluation, as well as credentialed Registered Dietitians/Nutritionists. Vantrition, LLCalso offers internship opportunity to university students majoring in fields such as dietetics, exercise physiology/performance, business and psychology.
Effective, Safe, and the Best Tasting Products Available
We would be more than happy to provide you with product samples to judge and see the difference between our products and those offered by other companies. We spend tremendous amounts of time in the formualtion and development of our products to ensure that they dissolve and mix well, combined with flavors that athletes love. We use consumer panels to taste and evaluate each of our products, in the lab, in the gym, and on the field before we are satisfied and add that formualtion to our product line. We are engaged in new product development based on scientific research and will only offer products that have substantial research evidence related to that specific nutrient.
Formulation and production of Vantrition nutritional products is conducted in Ohio, U.S.A., within a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) registered facility. Vantrition, LLC meets and follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as outlined and required by the FDA. All ingredients used in the production of Vantritionnutritional products have certifications of analyses (COA) and material safety data sheets (MSDS) which assures the purity and quality of each raw material used for production.
Upon the production of protein and amino acid blends, quality control procedures such as analytical protein concentration analysis and triangular sensory evaluations are implemented to provide consistant and high-quality finished products that adhere to FDA GMP requirements.
These production and manufacturing procedures are in place to provide athletes with effective and safe nutritional supplements to assist them in getting to the next level.
